Saanjh means the meeting of day and night — the hour our tailors have always favoured, when gold thread catches the last light. We build bridal, festive and considered everyday pieces from that same hour, by hand, in Rohtak.

Our story
Saanjh opened as a two-room tailoring counter in 1997, taking in wedding lehengas for families across Rohtak and Sonipat. Three decades on, the counter has become an atelier, but the promise hasn't moved: one karigar sees a piece from first cut to final mirror-set, and no design leaves the floor until it has been tried on a real body, in real light.
We keep our runs small on purpose. A handful of silhouettes each season, reworked in the embroidery our region is known for — zardozi, gota patti, aari — so a Saanjh piece reads as considered rather than seasonal.
“We don't chase trend cycles. We finish what a bride will still wear to her daughter's wedding.”
— Meher Kaushik, Founder & Head DesignerCollections

Pairs with any editHow a piece is made
An hour at the atelier — occasion, palette, budget and silhouette, with fabric and karigar work shown in hand, not on a screen.
Your base garment is cut and the embroidery outline is placed on the body, so handwork follows your shape rather than a standard block.
The finished piece, pressed and boxed at the atelier. Minor alterations after the reveal are done free of charge.
From our brides
“My lehenga fit better than any off-the-shelf designer piece I tried in Delhi — and it was ready two days early.”
Ritika S., Rohtak
“The mirror work on my mother's saree was redone stitch for stitch. She wore it to my wedding forty years after her own.”
Anmol K., Sonipat
“They talked me out of a trend I would have regretted. That's rare from a boutique.”
Priyanka M., Rohtak
